As a Senior Audit Manager in the firm’s Assurance and Business Advisory Group, Scott specializes in financial, operational and compliance audits in various industries.  He has an extensive background in risk-based auditing, development and review of internal controls, and development, testing and implementation of business systems. 

Scott has comprehensive knowledge of alternative investment accounting and auditing issues, including review of partnership/company agreements, allocations, contributions and withdrawals, management fees, performance fees, investment valuations and financial highlights. 

His specialties include mergers and acquisitions, operations analysis, and comprehensive product line profitability analysis, including standard cost development. Scott has led cross-functional teams from various disciplines including systems, risk management, operations, sales and marketing.

Education

Scott earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Denver, with a major in Accounting and an emphasis in Information Technology.  To compliment his Bachelor’s degree, Scott has a Masters of Accountancy from Daniels College of Business, University of Denver.
