Our firm’s culture grew out of being founded in San Francisco. San Francisco’s rich diversity pulses through the fabric of our dynamic environment, clients, partners, and team members. Our San Francisco office is at the heart of the bustling Financial District with bay and skyline views. Our location places us in close proximity to all the city has to offer, as well as the Ferry Building, which offers renowned local farmers markets and easy access to other Bay Area locations.

Our Oakland office is a part of the vibrant fabric that is the East Bay and we enjoy being a part of the entrepreneurial and unique Oakland business environment. Whether you’re exploring the heart of San Francisco or the diverse communities of the Bay Area’s nine counties, there’s really something for everyone. Most of our clients are located within an hour’s commute of San Francisco, and, with easy access to BART, Muni, bus, and ferry transportation, you’ll never be too far from work or home. The moment you walk through our doors you can feel the open possibilities of a creative and rewarding professional and personal lifestyle.

We have bi-monthly firm-wide meetings where partners, firm management, and committee leaders communicate strategic updates, financial reporting, and firm happenings.

Give Back

DZH Phillips believes in giving back to the community that supports us. We continually seek ways to be of service to others through various volunteer opportunities. We encourage and support our professionals in learning how to serve on the boards of directors of community organizations as well as getting involved in our Give Back committee which hosts quarterly community service events.

Work/Life

We know that one of the key ingredients to happy and healthy employees is the opportunity to create stronger bonds through fun activities both during the work day and beyond. Our firm has  a full calendar of firm-sponsored activities, including:

  • soccer and basketball teams,
  • Giants games,
  • happy hours,
  • team building events, and
  • parties celebrating post-busy seasons and holidays.

We provide our staff with a variety of perks, including catered meals, chair massages, and raffles. In addition, we have the DZH Phillip’s Café which houses a flat screen TV, pool and foosball tables, a latte machine, and comfortable seating where our employees can take a break, read a magazine, or meet up with a colleague. We have a business casual dress policy with denim casual Fridays all year round and during our peak busy seasons.
