Larry is the Managing Partner of DZH Phillips LLP. He brings a unique perspective to clients’ business and financial affairs, providing comprehensive wealth management services, including investment planning, estate planning, income tax and retirement planning. With over 30 years of business experience, his entrepreneurial nature, technical skills and experience provide clients with creative, custom solutions to their needs.

Prior to the formation of DZH Phillips, Larry was a partner at one of the predecessor firms, Smith, Lange & Phillips LLP. He earned an undergraduate degree in business administration from State University of New York and a master’s degree in taxation from Golden Gate University. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (Cal CPA), the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the San Francisco Real Estate Roundtable, San Francisco Chamber of Commerce and the San Francisco Planning and Urban Research Association (SPUR). He has served on the directorial boards of several nonprofit organizations and is the former president of Tax Aid in San Francisco.

Larry’s mission is to create outstanding, long-term relationships by providing creative solutions in order to help others achieve their goals and objectives. With this mission in mind, Larry seeks out multi-entity, high-net-worth clients with a strong growth trajectory. He helps clients achieve their goals by aligning people with tasks appropriate to their skill sets. Larry also invests his time in cycling, cooking, traveling, enjoying theater and the arts.
