Bio

Sherlice specializes in providing outsourced accounting and financial services to numerous clients in the Bay Area as a manager in the Outsourced Accounting and CFO Advisory group. She has over six years of accounting experience ranging from assurance services to internal accounting. She specializes in helping her clients in accounting system selection and implementation, training clients on new accounting systems, financial statement preparation and cash management. Her industries of focus are construction, manufacturing, consumer goods and nonprofit organizations.

Sherlice obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis in accounting at Mills College. Prior to joining DZH Phillips, Sherlice began her professional career with KPMG in the Assurance department. After leaving KPMG, she was the controller at a Bay Area construction company where she learned the needs and constraints that face a company when growing from small to midsize.

Having grown up on a farm in Southern California, Sherlice has a profound appreciation for nature. When not at work she is an avid crafter and enjoys going on hikes with her family and dog. She is involved with the Salvation Army and volunteers her time at the San Francisco Kroc Center, restoring the Garden Street center in Oakland and is involved in the Adopt-a-Senior Christmas Gift Program.
